You’ve bought your tickets, made your hotel reservations, and you are starting to get ready for the big weekend. As you get ready, here are some ideas to help you pack and prepare for this year’s event:
What should I wear?
It’s a concert, but you are not required to wear anything formal. Be classy, yet be comfortable. If comfortable means wearing tennis shoes, go ahead and wear them.
Will there be shuttles from the parking lot?
Yes. There will be golf cart shuttles available to and from the Palace Theater. If you want a ride, wave one of them down and the drivers will be happy to give you a lift!
Is the seating “senior friendly?”
The Palace Theater’s seating is all one level. No stairs, no balconies – the seating is flat on the floor for your convenience.
Is supper provided?
A catered supper will be available both evenings onsite. Meal tickets are $10.00 each (beverage included) and desserts are available for an extra charge. These tickets can be purchased at the ticket table. Concessions are also available during the whole event.
Where is Adventureland located exactly?

What should I bring along to the convention?
If you like taking pictures, feel free to bring your camera! (If you take pictures or video during the convention, please share them with us through email or our Facebook – we’d love to see them!) Take some cash along for the convention program/schedule ($1.00 each) and CDs from your favorite groups. If you get cold, pack a sweater; if you get hot, bring a paper fan. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella in case of a rain shower! (It looks like it might be a rainy weekend; keep your eye on the weather here.) And toting along a smile doesn’t hurt either! 🙂
Do you have any more questions? Let us know in the comments and we’ll answer them to the best of our ability! We are praying for a God-honoring and uplifting convention and looking forward to seeing each of you there! To God be the glory! The Midwest Quartet Association
